Bisolvon Dry 200ml
Bisolvon Dry Liquid is used to relieve a dry, irritating cough. When youve got a non-productive cough, the urge to cough can be so strong that it can be almost impossible to sleep, and persistent coughing can leave you feeling exhausted.
Bisolvon Dry Liquid acts on the cough-reflex centre in the brain to suppress the urge to cough.
BisolvonDry Liquid provides soothing relief from a dry, irritating cough. It is available in a pleasant apricot vanilla flavour.
What Bisolvon Dry Oral Liquid is used for
Bisolvon Dry Oral Liquid is used for the treatment of dry, irritating coughs.
Bisolvon Dry Oral Liquid contains the active ingredient known as dextromethorphan hydrobromide, a cough suppressant that acts on the cough centre in the brain to suppress a dry cough.
Bisolvon Dry Liquid contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide (10mg per 5mL). It is a colourless liquid and has an apricot vanilla flavour.
Bisolvon Dry Liquid is sugar free, colour free, gluten free and lactose free.
Each 5 mL of Bisolvon Dry Oral Liquid contains:
- dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10 mg
- methyl hydroxybenzoate
- saccharin sodium
- maltitol solution
- propylene glycol
- vanilla aroma 33P080
- apricot aroma 653460
- purified water
Dosage
Children 6 11 years of age:
2.5 7.5mL, every 4 6 hours when necessary.
Use in children aged 6 11 only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Do notexceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period.
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
5 15mL, every 4 6 hours when necessary.
Do notexceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period.
Measuring cup included.
